Meevo LIVE 2026 had a little Salon Jaylee in the room.
The theme this year was Growth with Intention, and it hit home for us. After decades in this industry, we still get a little giddy about learning something new.
Spending time with people who love the beauty world as much as we do was a treat. Now comes the fun part of putting it to work here in The Villages. ๐

We asked the whole team who lit their Spark, and everyone had a name. Then the hair talk started and barely let up.
Schwarzkopf Professional's Nikki Torpe took us through Diamond Foil Placement, from sectioning through marble toning, with formulas for coppers and brondes plus a few creative tones for fall.
BLONDME bond repair and IGORA Vibrance came up too, and Rachel Cordasco, Schwarzkopf's Regional Education Manager, joined as a special guest.
After lunch, Jamie Forbush walked us through R+Co's 2026 lineup, including R+Co BLEU scalp care with its Bleu Waves scent and the Pro Treatments.
Nutrafol's Eva Van Anglen brought hair wellness from the inside out.
Every stylist heard the same information on the same day, which helps keep your results consistent from visit to visit, no matter whose chair you sit in.

Gray has a favorite place to start, and your temples are first in line. The front hairline is right behind them.
From there it spreads on its own schedule and doesn't take requests. Genetics run the show, so two people the same age can have very different amounts.
Deeper, warmer shades lead fall color this year, which makes it the perfect excuse to talk about where your gray fits in. ๐ค
One option is gray blending. Highlights or lowlights plus toning soften the contrast between your gray and the rest of your color, and it can mean fewer root touch-ups since regrowth is less obvious. Your calendar may thank you.
