Finally found some time to make my mama feel special and ya’ll know I had to get her right🤞🏻🙌🏻💜

Warning for any of my stylist friends, the Redken 10 minute color gels go hard, but they are about 2 shades darker than they say they are and how they looked swatched. Thank the heavens and the hair God’s that this still turned out good despite the level jump!

Would you believe it if I told you she needed a full on color correction when she came to me? We started with a variety of shades of white, yellow, and orange in her hair.

Hair coloring is not intended to be a slap it in a foil cure all. Sometimes people need strategic placements and formulations to achieve their desired style and THAT IS OKAY!!

Being a client who needs a “little extra” whether it be physically in the work behind the chair, a listening ear, or quiet relaxation time does NOT make you an inconvenience! If anything, it makes you HUMAN! You should NEVER be made to feel like you are less than because of your situations, feelings, or the literal hair on your head. Needless to say, if you needed to hear this today, take it as your sign to find a stylist who fits YOUR needs!
