It’s almost unfair how good freshly cut French and English lavender smells. If you never get the chance to visit a lavender farm DO! Rows and rows of lavender against a blue sky and the smell of lavender in the air makes for a great summer day. Often, when we tell people there is mango seed butter in our natural soaps, body butters and lip balms we are met with blank stares. Most people don’t know what mango seed butter is. Think Shea butter. Same awesome natural skin loving nutrient dense ingredient - different plant. These 2 bars while fun are made to be used. The Bee’s bar is made with powdered oatmeal making it smooth and creamy, fragranced with Lemon Verbena fragrance oil a very popular fragrance. I made the Watermelon bar to look and smell like watermelon. This one is a lot of work to make but fun for me. I make the rim first with 2 different colors to look like a watermelon. They seeds, I pour soap into a heat shaped mold then cut them in half. Finally they pink soap is made, I put the whole think together fragrances it with watermelon fragrance oil and TADA!
