Crystalized Nails

Hey👋🏼 I’m Crystal. 💕

It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself around here, and a LOT has changed.

I’m the nail artist behind Get Crystalized and owner of Crystalized Nail & Beauty Studio. 💅🏼✨

I’ve been a licensed nail tech since 2015, but this business definitely didn’t start out looking like it does today.

When I started, I had some nail supplies, very little money, no clientele, and no clue where any of this was going. 😂 I rented a spot in a salon in Stockton where I knew basically nobody and decided I needed to get people in my chair somehow.

So I offered $15 full sets to the first 25 people who booked.

Y’all. FIFTEEN DOLLARS. 😭😂

And those sets took me THREE TO FOUR HOURS.

But I needed the practice. I needed the pictures. I needed people to know my name. Most importantly, I needed somewhere to start.

I’ve always believed in working with what you have until you can get where you want to be.

So that’s what I did.

I worked out of our garage. I worked in different salons. I practiced, messed up, learned, grew and slowly figured out the kind of artist and business owner I wanted to be.

One client, one set and one veryyyyy long appointment at a time. 😂

And somewhere along the way, this became bigger than the girl trying to convince 25 strangers to let her practice on them for $15.

Today, I get to walk into a studio of my own. 🥹🔑

And I still don’t feel like I’ve “made it.” I feel like I’m building. There’s still so much I want to create, learn and grow into.

So if you’re new here, hi. 🫶🏼 I’m Crystal.

I do nails. I make things sparkly. I overthink almost everything. 😂 I usually have about 37 ideas going at once, and apparently I’ve never met a dream I didn’t immediately try to turn into a whole damn project.

And if you’ve ever sat in my chair, shared my work, referred a friend, encouraged me or supported any version of this journey, thank you. 🤍

And to the girl in those old pictures who was just working with what she had?

Beyond the nail art, I think my favorite part of doing nails will always be the connections I make with the people who sit in my chair.✨

Every nail session becomes its own little memory. Conversations, laughter, healing, vent sessions, life updates, quiet moments…all while creating something beautiful.
