✂️ FROM BROOKLYN TO TREXLERTOWN: A STORY OF PASSION, PERSEVERANCE & BELIEVING IN YOURSELF! 💇‍♀️✨

At just 14 years old, Michelle picked up a pair of scissors to cut her sister’s hair. She had no idea that moment would spark a 25-year career and eventually lead her to opening Brooklyn Axccents, her very own salon in Trexlertown!

But the journey wasn't without self-doubt. For years, Michelle questioned whether she had what it took to become a business owner. In 2023, she finally took a chance on herself, and she's never looked back.

❤️ “My sister was the first person to tell me I was a natural. Years later, I finally believed her.”

In our latest Faces of Main Street feature, discover how a Brooklyn girl turned her passion into a thriving Lehigh Valley business.
