Canyonlands is a beautiful patchouli, black pepper, orange and cedar blend swirled into botanicals for a grounding blend that is a gorgeous synergy of these oils. For anyone who loves a blend that takes them back to the earth and sacred and wild places, this is for you.

Just a little sneak peek in the studio as I make my prickly pear soap, Desert Bloom. Forgive the shaky camera work as I was using one hand because I decided to spontaneously film and didn’t have my camera stand nearby, as you can see, I make my soap from scratch, and there’s a healthy dose of love in there along with prickly pear seed oil and prickly pear juice, and everything else that makes from scratch soap making soooooo lovely!! I use cold process soap making methods and cure my soap a minimum of 4 weeks before selling. On that note, I have conducted a few experiments where I was weighing my Soap bar nearly every day, and recording the weight until the weight stabilized which signifies that it has lost most of its water weight and is getting close to being fully cured. I found that this consistently happened for me between three and four weeks in the desert. Our air is typically so dry. We don’t have to wait much longer to get a nice hard bar. Enjoy!

I always love the golden hues of pumpkin and honey…..the combination of the pumpkin purée blended with the rich golden honey just scream fall and the dream of cool, crisp weather! Growing up on the East Coast I still have days where I miss sweaters and scarves and layers, tights, and chunky shoes. I get to daydream a little bit when I am making my fall soaps even when it’s still near 100° here in Arizona! This Soap will be ready the first week of September and is currently hanging out on the curing racks, just hadn’t gotten around to posting my pictures yet✨🍁🍂🧡 made with organic pumpkin purée, local honey, my house, splendid of plant based oils, including avocado, and Shea butter along with a blend of fragrance and essential oils, and topped with beautiful botanicals.
