🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀
Ar**la scar blending with subtle reshaping. 💕

Medical tattooing can be much more than creating 3D ar**las after a mastectomy, and this is an example of that!

This lovely patient underwent a unilateral mastectomy with reconstruction and a breast lift on her opposite breast for symmetry.

During her medical tattoo appointment, I was also able to work with her existing natural ar**la, blending the surgical scarring and improving its overall shape and definition. Such a subtle but beautiful improvement with carefully placed pigment! 💗

Something many women don’t realize is that ar**la scar camouflage and reshaping can also be performed following cosmetic breast lift & reductions. It can also be beneficial after lumpectomies. Not every patient is a candidate, but in many cases, medical tattooing can make a wonderful difference in the appearance of surgical scars and ar**la symmetry. Scars must be a minimum of 12 months old and NOT hyper pigmented (dark/brown).

🫶🏼And since it’s October, here’s my little reminder to schedule your recommended mammograms, know what’s normal for your breasts, and never ignore a change or concern. Early detection can make a tremendous difference, and your breast health deserves your attention.

If I’m being incredibly honest, the beauty/aesthetic industry can be both physically and mentally exhausting which is why it has such a high burnout rate. I am nearing 20 years in the beauty business and I can say my passion for making you all feel beautiful and your sweet love notes are what keeps me going. 💕

So from the bottom of my heart I want to say THANK YOU! I know sending these takes time out of your day but they absolutely do mean the world to me. I have ran my business by treating others the way I want to be treated, and putting myself if your position. All the little details, the extra expenses, all the time searching for the perfect everything to make your experience the best it can possibly be is totally worth it!
