When was the last time you thought about the health of your scalp?
We spend so much time caring for the skin on our face, but our scalp is skin too—and it deserves care of its own.
At The Meadow, I like to think of our HeadSpa treatments as a facial for the scalp. Personalized scalp care, gentle cleansing, warm steam, hydrotherapy and scalp massage help remove buildup, refresh and rebalance the scalp, and support a healthy foundation for beautiful hair.
But HeadSpa is about more than scalp care.
There’s something incredibly relaxing about slowing down, feeling the warm water and allowing a soothing scalp massage to release some of the tension we carry through the head, neck and shoulders.
Whether you're curious about improving your scalp care or simply craving time to deeply unwind, HeadSpa offers a beautiful combination of wellness and relaxation.
Your scalp deserves some love, too. 🤍
Interested in experiencing HeadSpa at The Meadow? Send me a message and I’ll help you choose the right treatment for you.

Early Access to the New Radiansome™100
One of the launches I’m most excited about from convention is the newly refined Radiansome™100 collection.
These formulas still feature 100% nanoliposomal technology, now with an even more refined formulation process for a smoother, more luxurious feel and deeply nourished, luminous-looking skin.
The Radiance Bundle brings together the new Radiansome™100 collection, cleansing essentials, the new Microfluidizer Concentrate, and a Radiansome Experience Kit.
I’m also bringing these products into an entirely plant-based and vegan collagen facial at The Meadow—and I cannot wait for you to experience it.
Early access to the Radiance Bundle closes tonight at 11:59 PM Pacific—that’s 2:59 AM Eastern.
Interested in the bundle or the new facial? Comment RADIANCE or send me a message. I’ll help you with the bundle, share more details about the facial, or help you reserve your appointment.

It Starts at the Source 🌿
The more I learn about skincare, the more I realize just how much ingredients matter—but where they come from and how they’re cared for matter too.
One of the reasons this Korean skincare line stood out to me is its approach to Centella asiatica, an ingredient loved for helping calm, hydrate and support the skin barrier.
Instead of using a commonly sourced extract, the brand spent years developing its own specialized variety of Centella, grown on a carefully controlled farm on Jeju Island.
I was also impressed by the company’s commitment to clean, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, including careful testing for pesticide residues and heavy metals.
That level of care is exactly what I was looking for when choosing products to use in treatments at The Meadow here in Venice, Florida—and recommend to the people who trust me with their skin.
This is only one of the reasons I chose this line, and I’ll be sharing more soon.
Curious what it is? Leave a comment or send me a message.
I am loving my time in Vegas so far! Today we learned about the many new products that will be launching this year! I’m so thankful I found the #1 K Beauty brand in the world! And what a blessing it is to share it all with you too! 💖
It was never just about the hair and makeup. 🤍
When Jess first reached out to me, she had a vision for how she wanted to look on her special day—but just as importantly, she wanted to feel comfortable, confident and cared for.
From our first messages and her hair trial to the day she brought her daughter and best friend into The Meadow, I had the privilege of being part of something so much bigger than getting ready.
There were facials, hair and makeup, music, little bites, drinks, laughter and so many sweet moments together.
Then Jess left me a review that stopped me in my tracks:
“From our first Facebook messages to days after the event, Kayla made me feel truly special.”
That sentence means so much to me.
Because that is what I want The Meadow to be.
A place where you’re listened to.
A place where you can slow down.
A place where you feel cared for.
And a place where the experience becomes part of the memory.
Jess, thank you for trusting me with such a special time in your life—and for sharing The Meadow with the women you love. It was truly an honor to celebrate alongside you. 💖

At 36, the way I think about beauty has changed.
There was a time when choosing makeup was mostly about finding the right shade, getting good coverage, and making my skin look better.
Now I find myself asking a different question:
What am I actually putting on my skin?
If something is going to sit on my face for hours, I want to know what’s in it. I want ingredients that complement the care I’m already giving my skin—not simply something that covers it up.
That shift in thinking is also a big part of what I bring into The Meadow. I’ve become much more intentional about the skincare I use personally, the products I bring into my treatment room, and the ingredients I recommend to my clients.
I’m learning that beautiful skin doesn’t have to mean perfect skin. At 36, I’m much more interested in healthy, nourished, radiant skin that still looks like mine.
And when makeup can give me a little coverage while also containing thoughtful skincare ingredients? That’s the kind of beauty product I’m interested in.
Beauty for me isn’t about covering more anymore.
It’s about caring more.
Has the way you choose your skincare or makeup changed as you’ve gotten older?

Your skin changes as you get older.
It may feel drier. Fine lines become more noticeable. Your glow isn’t quite what it used to be. Even products you’ve loved for years may suddenly not feel like enough.
That’s one of the reasons I’ve become so passionate about Korean skincare.
What I love is the philosophy behind it. Instead of constantly trying to correct, strip or fight the signs of aging, the focus is on hydration, supporting the skin barrier and giving the skin what it needs to function at its best.
The goal isn’t to make your skin look 20 again.
It’s healthy, hydrated, resilient skin that looks beautiful at the age you are now.
I’ve seen enough of a difference that I want to understand even more—which is why I’m heading to Las Vegas to immerse myself in Korean skincare education, new innovations and what’s coming next.
And I can’t wait to bring what I learn back to The Meadow and share it with you.

There’s something powerful about allowing yourself to be seen. 💗
Being nominated for Fierce Woman of the Year has given me a moment to reflect on how much can change when you keep showing up, keep growing, and keep believing in what you’re building.
For me, being a fierce woman isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about having the courage to keep going, staying true to who you are, supporting the women around you, and using what you’ve been given to make a difference.
I’m so grateful for the community that has surrounded me, supported The Meadow, encouraged me, and reminded me that we’re never meant to do any of this alone.
I’m soaking in this season with a very full heart—and apparently a little extra pink. 💕
Thank you to everyone who has voted, shared, encouraged me, or simply been part of this journey. It means more than you know.
Voting for Fierce Woman of the Year is open through August 7, and you can vote once each day. 💗

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to step away from everyday life and attend a yoga retreat in the mountains of North Carolina.
I came home with a lot of beautiful memories, but one of the biggest things I took with me was a renewed appreciation for community.
For relationships. For allowing other people into our lives. For remembering that we aren’t meant to do everything on our own.
There was something really special about being surrounded by women who came together with different stories and experiences, yet created this little community for a few days. It reminded me how good it feels to be part of something bigger than myself.
I even found myself tapping into a creative side I hadn’t used in a long time and wrote a song while I was there. 🎶 That experience reminded me how important creativity is to me, too.
And as I’ve reflected on the retreat, I’ve realized how much of this connects back to The Meadow.
The Meadow gives me a different kind of creative outlet. I get to create experiences, build relationships, care for people, and make a space feel warm and meaningful. And while I may be the one behind the business, I’ve never built it completely on my own.
It’s grown through the people who walk through the door, the friendships and relationships that have formed, the people who encourage me, and the community that continues to support it.
The retreat reminded me that life feels a little richer when we allow ourselves to create, connect, and be part of something beyond just ourselves.
And I think that’s something I want to carry with me—not only personally, but into The Meadow too.
