These are "true soaps" consisting of predominately saponified oils. Silverleaf Soap Company, LLC was born through the joy of soapmaking and wanting to share our creations with others. After practicing the art of soapmaking for a little over a year and creating over 2 dozen kinds of soap, it was time to try a small business so we can keep doing what we love without being overtaken by soap. rleaf Soap Company we are making soap for the joy of exploring the seasons through scents. While we will try to have predominantly seasonal scents, we will also have some tried & true scents year round (who wants to wait a year for more Margarita soap?). All our soaps (so far) are crafted with the same blend of base oils (Olive, Coconut, Palm [responsibly sourced], Castor, and Sweet Almond) and are scented with a fragrance oil. All soaps are allowed to cure for at least 4 weeks and are tested to ensure they are safe to use before selling. If you are sensitive to fragrances please use the soap on a small patch of skin before using all over in case of a reaction to the fragrance. We do plan to have unscented soaps in the future for those with fragrance sensitivities! These bars of soap should last at least 1 month depending on use (hand/body) & storage conditions (does it dry completely between uses?). If your bar stays soggy it might run out quicker-- we suggest a soap bar saver (especially ones made with recycled plastic). We currently do not sell soap bar savers.
