💜Deep Cleaning Facial with Milia Extractions🤍

I had the pleasure of treating a lovely client to a deep cleaning facial with skin scrubber. After a thorough skin analysis, I noticed some stubborn white blemishes that turned out to be milia (under eye and along cheek area).

Milia are small, white or yellowish cysts that often pop up on the face, especially around the eyes and cheeks. They form when keratin gets trapped beneath the skin’s surface. While they can be bothersome, they’re not something you can easily extract at home; it requires a careful technique to to avoid bruising or scarring (can occur).

My client mentioned she’s had these milia since childhood, but today was the day we said goodbye to
them! 💜

After the extractions, there may be some redness and swelling at the sites, but don’t worry—it’ll subside in a few hours. I also applied cold soothing globes to help with redness and swelling.

I followed up with her today, and I’m happy to report that the swelling and redness have already faded! 🌟
