Mother’s Day has always carried both love and grief for me. But over the years, I’ve learned that even grief can grow something beautiful. This Mother’s Day has carried an immense amount of grief. I’ve had days within the last few weeks where grief ambush has turned me every way but loose.

If you’re new here, I lost my mom at 10 and it left me questioning so much about womanhood, motherhood, healing, and who I would eventually become.

🫶🏾😔I may not have had the chance to walk through every stage of life with my mother beside me… but somehow, through God’s grace, healing, community, and love, I still became.

And for that, I’m proud of myself foreal…

To all mothers and mother figures who nurture with love and compassion, happy Mother’s Day… (late but oh well lol)

And I thank you for being anchored in Yeshua the Christ because he guided and equipped you in such a way as to handle his daughter with care and dignity in this new season.
