There was a young Marine from Chicago trying to rewrite her story. 🇺🇸

Honored to have previously been featured by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Women Veterans for my journey from troubled youth to U.S. Marine, advocate, author, and now a leader in wellness and cannabis education.
Every chapter mattered.Every setback built resilience.Every experience planted the seed for purpose. 🌱

Today, that mission continues through Soiled Wellness Consulting where veteran leadership, public health, cannabis education, and healing intersect.

Today we honor Tee Marie Hanible, a retired U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant (GySgt), whose 20-year career exemplifies leadership under pressure and a lifelong dedication to serving others.

Tee's deployment to Iraq in 2003 speaks volumes about her courage and trailblazing spirit: "I served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps and deployed to Iraq in 2003 as the only woman in one of the first units to deploy." Throughout her career, she led Marines through demanding missions, built resilient teams, and mentored service members with purpose.
Her pride is deeply rooted in the unwavering leadership and high standards she upheld.

Since retiring, Tee has continued her service as the Founder and CEO of Operation Heroes Connect, a veteran-led nonprofit focused on youth development and community wellness. The organization leads youth development programs, back-to-school initiatives, holiday meal and coat drives, Toys for Tots activations, and supports transitional housing for displaced Veterans. Tee is also a bestselling author of "The Warrior Code: 11 Principles to Unleash the BadAss in You," a book recognized by the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) for its impact on Veterans and mental health. Tee's public presence includes roles as a TV personality (including co-starring on FOX’s "American Grit" starring John Cena), media commentator, and public speaker. She remains a passionate advocate and grassroots activist supporting Veterans and underserved youth.

Tee's definition of military service is powerful: "Military service means protecting American citizens and defending the Constitution..." She adds, "I carry that commitment long after the uniform has come off."
