Aks is an ode to the privilege of being a woman. We owe it all to the ones who paved the path for us to thrive: the women who made us, who taught us, protected us, nurtured us, prayed for us and the ones who cheered us on, our foremothers and their mothers before them.

Cheers to their resilience, their beauty, the traditions they passed on to us. Cheers to keeping those traditions alive and to learning from their example and to loving ourselves. After all, we are a reflection of them.
