My mind is blown— Olfactory imagery (An “In Your Mind” Smell) is when you see a photo and your brain creates a highly realistic mental simulation of the scent (!!)

I went further and found that even if the photo isn’t yours, and you haven’t been to that specific place, associative olfactory imagery is when you have a highly creative, empathetic brain with strong sensory processing….

Pattern matching is when your brain searches your memory bank for the closest matching data you have experienced

6 lessons in 6 months — in no particular order 💌

Building the hype, and the sales funnel, and pre order lists are great but if your business can’t support or sustain the demand you’ll be promising things you can’t deliver. Get quiet, and build the infrastructure to support exponential growth. This is what separates a small business from one that can really grow 🌱

This is my favourite part. Creating relationships with strangers who show up and support you over and over again is the definition of humanity. I am so grateful for everyone here 🥹💌 A community is what creates brand longevity, not a beautifully curated feed.

Oof 😮‍💨 the impostor syndrome can get real. You have to be a bit delulu to work through long timelines, packaging delays, limited capital, tariffs, damaged packages, flopped content and everything in between to believe this will work.

Thank god for for picking me up at my lowest and handling the things that were a mental block for me, my bookkeepers bless them all, and for zigging when I zag 📸 so I can focus on the vision ❤️

See you sundae was born out of the desire to get offline and connect in the flesh— so that’s what we did and will continue to do. Stay tuned 👀

After severing the partnership with my business partner I was left to pick up all of the pieces— which meant putting it all back together with a toddler and newborn baby. It got rough and I lost the plot for a while there, but the irony is everything this brand is built on is what I was yearning for. It’s really quite cathartic, and kind of a full circle moment; being present and unplugging while in my sundae best. Thanks for reading
