What actually happens in a consultation? It starts with me.

Before I ask you anything, I want you to know who I am, how I work, and why.

I’ll introduce myself, walk you through the hair I use—Hair Lingerie—and share why I trust it for my clients. I’ll also talk through what I’m noticing about your hair and explain the methods I offer, including what each one is best suited for.

I keep things general at this stage on purpose. The method that’s right for you may look nothing like what you’ve seen on my feed—or what you’ve worn before. I want you to walk in knowing that nothing is decided yet.
Next, it’s your turn. Part 2 coming soon.

Owning a salon means I'm also a cleaner, content creator, receptionist, an admin team and the person fixing whatever just broke.

This is the unglamorous hour nobody posts. I happen to love it, because a clean, calm room is where every good appointment starts. And as a business owner and busy mom, blasting whatever music I want it actually such a treat šŸ’…šŸ¼šŸŽ¶šŸ’‡šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ«§šŸ•ÆļøšŸ’™

The best extensions aren’t only beautiful worn down.

A style like this requires hair that moves naturally and placement that remains discreet—even when everything is swept up.

That freedom begins with thoughtful placement, a seamless blend, and hair chosen specifically for you. The result becomes part of the experience—never something you have to work around. šŸ¤

No two clients leave my chair with the same instructions. Not even close šŸ¤

Your texture, how your hair has taken color over the years, the actual condition it's in right now — all of it changes what I tell you to do at home. What works for someone with fine, virgin hair is genuinely the wrong advice for someone with coarse, color-treated hair, and vice versa.

That's why I don't do one generic care sheet. I give you instructions built for your hair, not just "extension care" in general šŸ‘€

The goal was length—not more hair than her natural density could support.

This is her second move-up with the same 2.5 packs of 20-inch extensions. The amount of hair was intentionally chosen to complement her natural density, creating length that still looks balanced and believable from root to end.

More hair isn’t always better. A seamless result comes from knowing how much the natural hair can comfortably support, where to place it, and when to stop.

Second move-up. Same hair. Fresh result.

How did we go from brunette to blonde?

Seven months. Five appointments. And a lot of saying ā€œnot today.ā€

My client came to me with box dye she’d put on at home and a few greys starting to come through. We talked it over and decided together that blonde was the direction — not to hide anything, but because it was going to work with the greys instead of fighting them every six weeks.

Then came the part people don’t expect: choosing the shade. Blonde isn’t one colour. I picked hers to sit against her skin and her eyes, because the wrong blonde on the right person still looks wrong.

Box dye is why it took seven appointments. It doesn’t lift evenly and it doesn’t forgive you for rushing. So we cut in January, then lifted slowly, session by session, never further than her hair could take that day.

And at the end — goodbye brunette extensions, hello to these gorgeous blonde ones. šŸ¤

Seven months of doing it properly looks like this!

Not hiding. Not fixing. Just living.

I have been loving styling and wearing my new hair.

Every client who sits in my chair gets a different plan. Every season changes that plan too šŸ‚ā˜€ļø

Your density, your texture, your lifestyle — that’s the baseline. But what works for your hair in July isn’t always what works for it in January, and if your stylist isn’t adjusting for that, something’s getting missed.
Watch through for how (and why) my protocol shifts client to client, and season to season šŸ¤
