Two generations. One car ride. A WHOLE lot of girl talk!

Today we wore pink in celebration of women and in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🎀

But on our way to church, my Mom and I got into some REAL conversations about perimenopause, menopause, hormones, and SKIN!

No script. No rehearsals. Just honest conversations about the changes women experience that we don’t always talk about enough.

As a licensed esthetician experiencing my own hormonal skin changes, I know firsthand that skincare isn’t always just about what’s in your cabinet.

Perimenopause entered the chat, and BABY! When I tell you these Hormonal shifts, stubborn breakouts, and hyperpigmentation have been a JOURNEY😩!

Even as a licensed esthetician, I’ve had to remind myself that skin healing requires patience, consistency, and grace.

Still healing. Still growing. Still becoming.

And sometimes protecting your peace means pausing, taking accountability, and choosing to pray instead of allowing frustration to take over. 🙏🏾
