PSA about why USPS may suddenly be going a lot slower for your perfume orders. This is a long boring video, so I will tell you the gist of it is basically that USPS has tightened its hazmat policies and made it more imperative for businesses to follow them by adding a $50 fee for mislabeled packages.

I did not mention this in the video, but USPS has also drastically raised its prices for ground advantage (the only method offered by USPS that can legally ship alcohol based perfume) for CERTAIN (not all) zip codes. Previously with ground advantage, there was an option for 4 ounce, or 8 ounce. Now in certain ZIP Codes the minimum package weight is 1 pound. This is kind of terrible for perfume businesses in particular because our packages are usually pretty lightweight. Again, I’m not seeing this for every ZIP Code, but if you order one item for me and your shipping is closer to eight or nine dollars versus the normal five or six dollars, then you are probably in one of the ZIP Codes being impacted by this new policy.

If anyone has any perfume shipping questions feel free to throw them at me. I have spent way too much time getting familiar with all the rules around shipping perfume and I’m happy to share the knowledge.

When I created Matcha Magnolia, it immediately became one of my personal favorites.

Something about the combination of creamy matcha, blooming magnolia, jasmine sambac, coconut milk, vanilla bean, and soft woods just feels so peaceful to me. It’s a scent profile I don’t come across very often, and I still find it just as enchanting as the day I first smelled it.

It launched last summer… quietly.

At the time, Stardust & Stems was much smaller, and so many of the people following along today weren’t here yet. Looking back, I don’t think this perfume ever got the moment it deserved.

So if you’ve never heard of Matcha Magnolia before, this is your introduction. 🌿🍵🌸

✨ A very small restock is coming this Friday at 10 AM ET. Once these bottles are gone, I’m not sure when I’ll make it again.

Right now, Matcha Magnolia is part of my seasonal summer collection. But every time I smell it, I wonder if it belongs in the year-round collection.

For those of you who’ve worn Matcha Magnolia… what do you think? Should it become an evergreen scent? I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts. 💚

One of the biggest secrets to experiencing perfume? Give it a moment to unfold.

A fragrance is designed to evolve on your skin, revealing different notes over time. Instead of judging it from the bottle or the very first sniff, let it breathe—you might discover a completely different story. ✨

One of my favorite parts of making London Fog Perfume is adding my hand-brewed Earl Grey tea tincture to the perfume base. 🍃

The tea isn’t just an inspiration for the scent—it becomes part of the perfume itself. I infuse real Earl Grey tea into both the fragrance concentrate and the alcohol base, so it’s woven throughout every bottle from beginning to end. That’s also what gives the blend its beautiful natural green color before it’s filtered and bottled.

Watching everything come together never gets old. Every batch is blended by hand, stirred together, and then given time to mature into the finished perfume.

Answering more of your perfume related questions! I also have a blog post about this from awhile back. If you type atomizer vs oil in the search bar in my website, it should pop up at the bottom of the page.

Since everyone seemed interested in some of the behind-the-scenes, I thought I would show the next step in the perfume making process🫧🧙
