The Golden Glow Project's Permission Event (A Wellness Event for Grieving Mothers) is fast approaching on November 2nd at Bok Tower Gardens, Florida.

Permission is a peaceful day of facials, massage, yoga, and nails offered at no cost to mothers who have experienced the unfathomable loss of a child. It's about giving themselves permission to rest, to relax, to breathe, and to be cared for without guilt.

We’re still looking for more sponsors and volunteers to help bring this day to life:

All esthetician spots are currently filled. A big thank you to Mr. Lulu skincare, who generously donated a full set of facial products for the event.

We're currently accepting product donations to use in our backbar or to include in gift boxes for the mothers to take home. We would love to feature you.

Also, anyone that would like to get involved can also help by covering the cost of a meal for a mother or volunteer. It’s just $24.95 per person and a meaningful way to give even if you can't be there in person.

Announcement: Temporary Pause on Volunteer Events

We want to share an important update. The Golden Glow Project will be taking a temporary pause on volunteer events until January. This decision wasn’t easy, but it has become necessary so we can restructure and strengthen the way we serve.

Recently, last-minute cancellations and no-shows have become too frequent. While we understand that unexpected things happen, the individuals and organizations we serve depend on us to show up consistently. Whether it’s seniors, cancer patients, shelters, or first responders, our reliability is what makes the difference.

Starting in January, we will be implementing a 3-strike rule. Signing up for an event is a confirmation of attendance, not a placeholder for interest. If you are unsure about your schedule, we ask that you wait until you know you can commit before signing up. We don’t like having to put this in place, but it is a necessary boundary to protect those we serve and the integrity of our mission.

What’s next:
• Our Permission Event in November will still move forward.
• During this pause, we will focus on creating clearer volunteer guidelines, improving our website, and building out perks and benefits for loyal volunteers.
• You can still apply to be a volunteer during the pause.

This pause is not a step back - it’s a step forward to ensure every Golden Glow event remains meaningful, reliable, and impactful. Thank you for being part of this journey and for continuing to support the work we do together.

This add-on experience is a hands-on confidence workshop created exclusively for licensed estheticians. Attendees will swap facials with a fellow professional, receive real-time feedback on technique, pressure, and flow, and explore products from some of the top brands in the industry.
