Did you know ? If your tan isn’t turning out the way you want, this may be why. Stop doing these things for the best results:

•𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫, 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞, 𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐧. Over-hydrated skin and product residue can block even development. Prep the night before.

•𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐧, The day before is ideal. If it must be the day of, no lotions or oils on the skin afterward. Soaking can remove your tan, and acetone will strip color from the fingertips.

• 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. Tight pants (yes, even leggings) can ruin the application. Flip-flops only. Sneakers, socks, and slides can rub the tan off your feet.

•𝐑𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝. Longer is not always better. Leaving it on too long before rinsing can cause unnatural results and going too dark many times won’t last as long and can cause a poor & blotchy fade.
