Consultation is 🗝 The reason I began this video with the shoes is bc it was the first thing I noticed about her when she walked in the door. Sure, most of my clients come in very casual but if you’re seeing a stylist for the first time, come in dressed as you want to be seen. Style and lifestyle to me are huge contributing factors when I’m visualizing a change for a new client. Are the conservative? Are they a little bit rock and roll? has such a cool vibe. I wanted something that would not only compliment her hair but would work with her overall style. We went with something super blunt with just a little kick around the face. PART 4- HOW TO STYLE THE HAIRCUT! This is one option and how we styled it that day! He makes it look so easy and it is pretty easy. The biggest thing is having clean parts - especially now with working with layers. You can’t just grab and go. You have to grab the section with the layer that it is. Even though we did soft layering and not a heavier layer, you do have to be more specific what pieces you pull when curling to make it make sense for the curling iron. It isn’t as easy as a blunt bob with texture, but I have definitely enjoyed this haircut. We are two weeks in, if you didn’t see my past content with the haircut and color make sure you go and look back at the past posts.
