Part 2 is hereeee!! ❤️
If you're a woman in your 40s living in the U.S. and struggling with melasma, this is for you.
For 8 years, I searched for answers. I avoided mirrors and photos without makeup, and I dreaded people asking, “What happened to your skin?”
I was tired of trying everything. My skin would improve, only to come back even worse. After every harsh treatment, it felt like I was back to square one, sometimes with an even worse rebound.
I started asking myself, “Is this really the right way to treat my skin?”
Because melasma isn't just a spot. It can affect your confidence and the way you see yourself.
After 8 years of struggling, I've now spent 6 years successfully managing my melasma. And there are so many things I wish I'd known sooner.
That's why I'm sharing my journey, one episode at a time, and what I learned along the way.
Follow along for the next episodes. If melasma has ever made you feel alone, you're in the right place. ♥️
📌I'm also thinking about turning everything I've learned into a simple, easy-to-follow guide to help you understand where to start.

There’s an incredible opportunity waiting for you this month. ✨
After years of trying to control my melasma, these are the things I would prioritize from day one:
1. Look beyond the skin.
Review blood work, including key vitamins, minerals, and hormones. Don’t just ask, “Is it in range?” look at the bigger picture with a qualified professional.
2. Prioritize nutrition.
Build an anti-inflammatory, nutrient-dense way of eating. Your skin is connected to your overall health.
3. Choose guidance wisely.
Work with someone who truly understands melasma and its journey, not random advice or influencers promoting the next “miracle” cream.
4. Be careful with aggressive treatments.
I would be much more cautious with lasers, harsh acids, and strong chemical peels—especially when the skin is already irritated or sensitive.
5. Remember: less is more.
You don’t need a 10-step routine. Focus on a healthy, resilient skin barrier and simple, intentional skincare.
6. Manage stress.
Stress is part of the bigger picture. Create habits that help your nervous system and overall well-being.
7. Take care of your whole self.
Your skin is part of your body, not separate from it. Nutrition, sleep, movement, emotions, and daily habits all matter.
Want to know where to start?
I created my Melasma First Steps Roadmap to help you understand the foundations and what to prioritize first.
Comment “ROADMAP” and I’ll send it to you.
