MWAC GOES PINK FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH!

REAL NUPES WEAR PINK!

Throughout October, the Brothers of the Maywood-Wheaton (IL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. are proudly going PINK in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Leading by example are Brother Lucious Dones IV (Kappa Phi, Spring 2026), a Nursing student at Aurora University, and Brother Lawrence Hudson (MWAC, Spring 2021), a Nurse Practitioner.

These two dedicated healthcare professionals proudly donned their “Real Nupes Wear Pink” shirts while making their rounds at Mercy Hospital, demonstrating that awareness, compassion, and service go hand in hand.

As healthcare professionals and Men of Achievement, these Brothers remind us that breast cancer awareness extends beyond wearing pink. It’s about education, early detection, supporting survivors, honoring those we’ve lost, and encouraging regular screenings.
