I would like to take a moment to talk about no shows and cancellations. I currently have 3 sitting in my checkouts. These clients will not be booked again. Some people may disagree with a 100% cancellation policy all you have to do is let me know 24 hours in advance. I know emergencies and illnesses can happen and I am understanding in those times. It’s been a long time since I’ve had this issue. However 3 in a month so far is a lot.

Here is a long explanation as to why I charge 100%.

I could have filled ALL of these spots had I known in a timely manner. One was a Saturday, I was no showed twice in the same day by the same client after I tried to give them the opportunity to not get banned or to pay for a service they didn’t receive. The other two were evenings which are highly sought after too. One of these bookings could have been at least two services for me.

This is the equivalent to you going to work and not getting paid for being there. My time does pay my bills and put food on the table for my family.

My loss for just these are around $500. Imagine your job shorting you that in just a few weeks. Wouldn’t you be upset?

It does make a difference and it does matter.
