These muscles are often involved in clients dealing with low back pain, hip tension, limited hip mobility, and even that feeling of being “stuck” through the front of the hips.
Working the upper arm/biceps is soooo slept on when addressing shoulder health!
Remember, everything is connected!! Releasing the biceps can help increase shoulder range of motion and overall fluidity when it comes to the shoulder joint
MOST people I've seen have experienced low back pain at some point in their lives. Although low back pain usually stems from somewhere else in the body, that doesn't mean working the actual low back is pointless. It still provides some pain relief and honestly just feels amazing.

As therapists, we may recognize that the root cause is somewhere else. But I've found that sometimes the best approach is giving clients what they want first, then guiding them toward what they need.
How do YOU work on the hamstrings??
The hamstrings used to actually be my least favorite muscle group to work on because I felt like there wasn’t much you could do with them. But, once I accepted that it got much better! I used to want all of the fun techniques for every muscle group but you don’t always need that to be effective.
I mainly use my elbows/forearms in this area and focus on long holds.
