“I searched old posts on here trying to find someone that may have advice for me on how to help my mom with her hair loss after radiation but I came up empty. I wanted to post this here so the next person looking has more luck!

I cannot say enough good things about Salon Pasca in Pike Creek. My 72-year-old mom finished 6 weeks of radiation for glioblastoma in mid-June and struggled terribly with the significant hair loss around her craniotomy scar. It was one of the most emotionally difficult parts of her journey.

After trying (and failing) with several online hair pieces that didn’t match her color or style, I brought her to Salon Pasca on a recommendation. From the moment we walked in, the entire team was warm and compassionate. They immediately gave us a private room in the back so my mom could feel comfortable.

Natasha was incredible. She listened to my mom’s story, carefully matched a hair piece to her exact color and style, cut and blended it seamlessly with her remaining hair, and then patiently worked with her—over and over—until Mom felt confident putting it on and adjusting it herself. For the first time in months, my mom looked in the mirror and felt like herself again.

Even more amazing, this was all provided at no charge through their nonprofit program for cancer patients called Be Bold and Beautiful. Natasha asked only that we share our experience so others can find them.
