Today my body finally said enough.

I haven’t had a day off in three weeks. Today I’m sick, I don’t feel good, I’m exhausted, and I can physically feel my body telling me that it’s had enough.

And the fu**ed up reality is, I don’t feel like I have time to rest.

I’m a business owner. I’m the only parent. I have clients who count on me, a son who needs me, a house to take care of, bills that still have to be paid, food that needs to be made, laundry that needs to be done, and a million other things that don’t stop just because I need to.

I try so hard to show up fully for everyone. For my clients. For my son. For my business. For my home.

And somewhere in all of that, I forget that my body needs me to show up for her too.

Today it caught up with me. And this is what that looked like.

I choose to show this because I teach authenticity in all of my master classes and in everything I do. I talk about how your authenticity will attract the right clientele and the right people to you.

And this is the authentic version of me today.

This is exactly why I love this industry, and why tradeshows and educational events will always be so important to me. No matter how much we know, how long we’ve been doing this, or whether we’re the student or the educator, there is ALWAYS something new to learn from the people around us. 🤍
