I think it’s so important to document your clients’ progress and keep detailed records throughout their time with you.

Not only for transformation purposes, but for liability purposes.

Even if a client does not give you permission to share their photos on social media, you should still have a paper trail and photos documenting their progress and treatments that you can reference throughout their time with you.

On my intake form, I have a specific question asking clients whether or not they give me permission to share their photos on social media. Their answer to that question is completely separate from whether or not I document their progress for their client file.

Document everything. Keep your notes, treatment history, product recommendations, and progress photos organized. You will be so grateful to have that documentation to reference later.

Exfoliation has been demonized so much in the skincare space, especially when it comes to acne-prone skin.

Yes, our skin naturally sheds itself. But that doesn’t mean everyone efficiently sheds dead skin cells on their own. This is where retention hyperkeratosis comes into play.

Exfoliation is not the devil. AHA’s, exfoliating acids, BPO and retinoids can have incredible benefits for the skin when used properly and appropriately for your individual needs.

It’s not about avoiding exfoliation altogether. It’s about using the RIGHT exfoliant for YOU.

Consistent exfoliation at a lower percentage will be more beneficial than using a high percentage exfoliant twice a week and overwhelming your skin.

The key isn’t to over-exfoliate. The key is consistency, choosing the right ingredients, and knowing how to properly support your skin. 🤍

Sometimes the simplest treatments can make the biggest impact.

3. Lash Lifts have been a part of my beauty rotation for over 10 years and I’ll always be obsessed. Anything that cuts ‘getting ready’ time is a win in my book. The key is to see an actual lash specialist.

4. Think of facials like a reset for your skin. Not only do we have the backbar to execute an amazing treatment but we have ingredient knowledge to push your skin to the next level. Like I said, if you can’t commit to them often, at least 2 a year.

5- Russian manicures/pedicures get a bad rep. However, they’ve been the only thing that actually last and keeps my nails healthy and strong. I’m hooked.
