LOW-MAINTENANCE COLOR ≠ NO MAINTENANCE COLOR 🤎✨
One of the biggest misconceptions about “lived-in” or low-maintenance color?
That you never have to come back. 😉
Low-maintenance color is designed to grow out beautifully, not to last forever.
✨ Your toner/gloss fades
✨ Your blonde can become warmer or brassy
✨ Your natural root grows in
✨ Your ends can become dull or dry
✨ Your color may need refreshing even when you’re not ready for a full blonding appointment
The goal of low-maintenance color is to give you more time between major appointments — while keeping your hair looking fresh, shiny and intentional.
Think:
Less time in the salon, not zero time in the salon.
Depending on your color, hair, and lifestyle, a simple gloss, toner, or refresh may be all you need between bigger appointments.
Want that beautiful “I woke up like this” color?
Maintenance is what keeps it looking that way. 🤍

Blonde girls, this one’s for you! 👱🏼♀️✨
Summer is full of sunshine, beach days, pool parties, and vacations—but did you know some of your everyday summer products could be working against your blonde?
🌞 Sunscreen can leave behind minerals and oils that make blonde hair look dull or discolored.
🤎 Self-tanner can transfer onto your hair and extensions, leaving behind unwanted orange or brassy stains.
🦟 Bug spray often contains alcohol and DEET, which can dry out hair, fade your color, and even shorten the life of your extensions.
The good news? You don’t have to skip the fun—you just have to protect your hair.
✨ Summer Hair Tips:
• Wear your hair up when applying sunscreen or self-tanner.
• Avoid spraying bug spray directly onto your hair.
• Rinse your hair after swimming or spending a long day in the sun.
• Use a moisturizing mask weekly to keep your blonde healthy and your extensions silky.
• Book your toner or gloss appointment before your blonde gets too brassy.
Your blonde and extensions are an investment—taking a few extra precautions now will keep them looking fresh, bright, and beautiful all season long. 🤍
Save this post for your next vacation and send it to your blonde bestie who needs to see it! ✈️🌴

✨ Why does your hair color fade so fast?
If you’ve ever felt like your fresh color didn’t last as long as you hoped, you’re not imagining it! Hair color naturally fades over time, but knowing why can help you keep it looking fresh for longer.
Things like frequent washing, summer sun, heat styling, chlorine, salt water, and using the wrong products can all cause your color to lose its shine and vibrancy sooner than expected.
The good news? A few simple changes to your routine can make a huge difference:
🤍 Use color-safe shampoo and conditioner
☀️ Protect your hair from UV exposure
🔥 Always use a heat protectant
💦 Rinse your hair before swimming
✨ Stay on top of glosses and maintenance appointments
Healthy hair holds color better, so investing in your hair care routine is just as important as investing in your color.

✨ First session down, and we’re officially on the road back to blonde! ✨
Years of box color don’t disappear in one appointment, and that’s okay. Healthy blonde is a journey, not a race. 💛
Today was all about safely lifting through the old color while keeping the integrity of her hair the priority. Every session gets us one step closer to her blonde goals, and I’m so excited to see what we can achieve at her next appointment.
Trust the process. Beautiful blondes take patience, consistency, and a customized plan. Stay tuned for session two! ✨

Summer is one of the biggest reasons your blonde starts looking warmer than when you left the salon—and it’s not always because your toner “washed out.” ☀️
Between UV rays, chlorine, salt water, hard water, and all the extra heat styling that comes with summer, your blonde is constantly being exposed to things that fade your tone and dry out your hair.
The good news? A few simple habits can keep your blonde looking fresh:
✨ Use a UV & heat protectant.
✨ Rinse your hair after swimming.
✨ Keep your hair hydrated with quality products.
✨ Schedule a gloss every 6–8 weeks to refresh your tone without committing to another full blonding appointment.
Blonde maintenance doesn’t have to be complicated—it just needs to be consistent.

✨ Four months of grow-out, and she’s fresh again. ✨
We brought her balayage back up, added the perfect neutral-warm blonde tones, and kept that soft, lived-in blend that grows out beautifully. 🤍
The best part? This low-maintenance color is designed to last another 4 months before she needs a refresh. Less upkeep, more gorgeous hair. ✨

✨ One of the biggest hair myths is that everyone should wash their hair on the same schedule… and that’s simply not true.
The “right” wash routine depends on your hair type, lifestyle, scalp, and whether you wear extensions.
Here’s a quick guide:
💧 Fine hair: Every 1–2 days
💧 Medium hair: Every 2–4 days
💧 Thick/coarse hair: Every 3–7 days
💧 Curly hair: Every 5–10 days
💧 Extensions: 1–2 times per week
The most important thing? Listen to your scalp—not social media. If you’re feeling oily, itchy, or dealing with buildup, it’s time for a good cleanse.
Not sure if you’re washing too much or not enough? Drop your hair type in the comments, and I’ll help you figure out the best routine for your hair. 🤍
✨ Sometimes your blonde doesn’t need a full transformation—it just needs a little refresh.
Blondes naturally fade and soften over time, especially before a vacation when you want that bright, sun-kissed glow. ☀️✈️
For this refresh, I did a wet balayage over her previously lightened pieces and finished with a clear gloss to gently bump up the brightness without over-processing her hair. The result? A fresh, luminous blonde that looks effortless and vacation-ready. 🤍
Not every appointment needs to be a major color service. Sometimes the smallest adjustments make the biggest impact.
