Many people think correcting old eyebrow tattoos is easier than creating a new set of brows. In reality, it’s often much more challenging.

With a new set of brows, the artist starts with a blank canvas. With correction work, we must work around an existing shape, old pigment, and previous design choices. The goal is to create brows that are more balanced, symmetrical, and flattering to the face, without making them too thick, too dark, or extending too far beyond the old tattoo.

Color correction is equally important. Pigments that have faded blue, gray, or red need to be carefully neutralized and brought back to a natural dark brown tone. At the same time, the old pigment must blend seamlessly with the new so the brows appear as one cohesive design.

The most difficult part is knowing where to add and where to soften. Some areas need more definition, while others need to appear lighter and more natural. It’s a constant process of balance, compensation, and precision.

This is where technique meets artistry. A successful correction requires an understanding of color theory, facial proportions, and aesthetics.

Every brow is checked from multiple angles and expressions, standing, lying down, smiling, talking, and with the face fully relaxed, because beautiful eyebrows should look natural in every moment, not just in a photo.

Our beautiful client traveled all the way from New Zealand 🇳🇿 for her very first brows, and we are so honored by the trust!

She came in with one brow starting further from the center than the other, creating an uneven gap between the brows that made them look slightly asymmetrical. By carefully designing the hair stroke front, we were able to build the inner corner of the shorter side to match, closing the gap and bringing both brows into perfect balance, all while looking completely natural. ✦✨

Combined with soft shading toward the tail, her Luxe Hybrid Brows are not only natural and fluffy but also beautifully defined and long-lasting.

We chose a warm brunette tone to complement her skin and gorgeous curly hair - so the result feels effortless and entirely her. 🤎
