WHEN TENSION TRAVELS 🌿
Have you ever felt tightness in your neck or back and wondered why it keeps returning?
The body doesn't work as a collection of separate parts. Fascia, muscles and movement patterns connect areas throughout the body.
The Superficial Back Line extends from the feet and calves, through the hamstrings and back, toward the neck and head. Restriction or tension in one area may influence how you move and feel elsewhere.
At Massage by Susan, I look beyond the area of discomfort and consider the body as a connected system.

SHOULDER PAIN? 🌿
The source may not always be where you feel the discomfort.
The shoulder, arm, chest and neck are part of a connected fascial system. Tension or restriction in one area may influence how another area moves and feels.
At Massage by Susan, my approach looks beyond the painful spot and considers the body as a connected system.
If you're experiencing persistent tension or restricted movement, I’d be happy to discuss whether my approach may be suitable for you.
