Recovery isn’t just for race day. It’s part of training.

Meet Alfred. As the facility manager at the gym, he spends most of his day behind a desk, while still making time for football, gym sessions and an active lifestyle.
Like many of us, balancing work and training can lead to stiffness, tight muscles and reduced mobility.

That’s why recovery has become part of his training routine—not because he’s injured, but because he wants to keep moving well, train consistently and continue doing what he enjoys.

Comrades Marathon is almost here! 🏃‍♀️💚

With race day just around the corner, I caught up with Suzaan to see how she’s feeling ahead of one of the biggest days on the running calendar.

After months of training, early mornings, long runs, and plenty of commitment, it’s always interesting to hear what’s going through a runner’s mind during the final few days before the start line.

Cape Town Marathon 2026 ✅

Whether you smashed a PB, ticked off your first marathon, battled through a tough day out, or simply soaked up the incredible atmosphere, you’ve earned the right to celebrate what your body achieved yesterday 👏

Now that the finish line has been crossed, it’s time to shift your focus to recovery.
