The last group of students to attend their Job Shadow day at Capri Academy. And we had so much fun creating beautiful nails!!

Oh my goodness what a beautiful day. To see first hand what the FCD students achieved over the past 6 weeks. They started from scratch, no previous experience in the nail industry, and look at them now. I am glowing with pride. To have been part of their nail journey was such an honour. 16 started 15 completed the journey. Amazing!!!
Tomorrow and Friday we continue their Job Shadow Journey.

We just completed a 2 week Full Nail Technician course at Capri. The students all passed their assessments with flying colours. 6 new Nail Techs are ready to start their nail journey. We will keep supporting them throughout their career through regular demo days and products supplies.

Today the students had to dig deep for this Advanced Polygel Sculpting class. They wanted to run but they stuck it out. So proud of them.

Honestly there is no easier Ombre than an Acrylic Ombre. And so beautiful and slinky!! This is how we teach it in the nail class at Capri Academy & Distribution.
I prefer to mix my own Milky white. A 50/50 mix of white and clear works well with our powders.

It is very cold in Cape Town at the moment and working on a warm bean bag help a lot when doing Acrylic nails. The warm bean bag heats the surrounding area and it raises the clients body temp, helping the acrylic to set faster.
