The sauna starts long before the fire is lit 🌿🔥

Join us for a special Fynbos & Sauna Walk as we explore the indigenous plants growing right on our doorstep.

We’ll begin the morning with coffee from and an introduction to local fynbos led by Camilla from . Together we’ll learn about the stories, scents, and traditional uses of the plants that make the Cape Floral Kingdom so unique.

From there, we’ll head into the mountains above St James for a guided 90-minute walk, discovering the rich diversity of fynbos that surrounds us.

After the walk, we’ll return to Hot Huts for a plant-infused sauna experience, exploring the aromas and qualities of the plants we’ve encountered through heat, steam, and scent.

A morning of movement, learning, connection, and relaxation.
