This week is Trichotillomania Awareness Week, now known as BFRB Awareness Week, and we wanted to use our platform to talk about something that doesn't get talked about enough.
Trichotillomania (trich) is a body-focused repetitive behavior (BFRB) disorder that causes recurrent hair pulling, and it affects far more people than most realize — yet it’s rarely spoken about openly. Our own Skylar, a member of the Jon Renau USA team, generously shared her journey with us, and we're so grateful for her courage in doing so.
Helping people feel like themselves again is the heart of what we do — and that mission means even more coming from someone who's lived it firsthand.
