No electricity for the past 12 hours. In a way it was an excuse and a relief (because we didn’t have power) to no longer watch the Bafana soccer team and what a joke that match was. I would be embarrassed if I was that coach.

Met the 2 guys from Kleinmond Fire Department. They came to open up where the fire hydrant is located. Had no idea we had one on our property. Live and learn! So grateful for the fire fighters!!

I'm looking for someone to stay with from July 20-28th in Edinburgh. Can anyone help me?

I would like to go to Edinburgh so I can support Zach (my son) at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. His wife will be in Edinburgh and we'll travel together from Edinburgh to Glasgow on the day he competes.

Ideally, we fly in from Cape Town on July 20th and leave again on July 28th. I can be flexible on the arrival date.

If you live along the coast, Betty's Bay and the like, please be careful. Rather Shelter in Place from Sunday - Tuesday.
