☀️ Microneedling in summer — the rules

Before treatment

•Avoid significant sun exposure and
sunburn for about 1 week before.
•Use a broad-spectrum SPF 50 every day.
•Don't have a treatment immediately
before a beach holiday or outdoor event.

After treatment

•Be particularly strict with SPF 50+.
•Avoid direct sun for approximately 5–7
days, especially during the first few days.
•Wear a hat and seek shade when
outdoors.
•Avoid swimming, saunas and very hot
environments for the first 24–48 hours.
•Keep skincare gentle and follow
recommended post-treatment products.
•Avoid active ingredients such as
retinoids, exfoliating acids and strong
vitamin C until the skin barrier has
recovered.
