In the 1800s, black wattle was imported for its bark; it later became one of South Africa's most aggressive invasive trees Ever seen those evergreen trees with dark, rough bark and feathery, dark green bipinnate leaves, with small, fragrant, pale yellow or cream-colored spherical flower heads? That’s the black wattle.
