Poverty strick Africans don’t have to relate to the middle or upper class to want better.
Them actually relating more to other people who are doing better and striving for success where they are is better. People seeing individuals who are in the smae situation doing the most is empowering.
If I asked you if you relate to people in villages and ghettos, I better not get some black American discourse centred spill about how people even enquiring makes you feel like you are not black enough.
A lot of us demonise those in poverty everyday so being struck by them not doing so to each other is amusing.

They shouldn’t make harsh comments but acting like if they don’t watch you vlogging your experience in Sandton, they’ll suddenly not want a lot is sick.
