Hi Everyone,

The end of the year is about 5 weeks out, which means as we leave 2016 and enter 2017 so many things change and have changed. When we started this company we didn’t think that in 3 years our objective would be achieved. We set out to bring all the “youtube -much loved brands” to South Africa and we can proudly say that we achieved our goal.

We imported Aphogee; Curls; Design Essentials; ECCO; My Honey Child; JessiCurl; OBIA; Shea Moisture and Twisted Sister. All the products we wanted to try and did BUT we realized that no matter what is available in our market, if we listen to our hair and understand our problems we can achieve health and growth.

Within the last few months we have noticed that many international companies have invested in our country and our natural hair care journey. Clicks now stock “Aunt Jackie’s”, Dischem stocks “Cantu” and Procter & Gamble (P&G) have introduced a “natural hair care” line within the Head and Shoulders brand (it smells really good) hopefully it works just as well. While the price points for each of the products within the category costs between R100-R200, know that when customer requirements increases the price of products decreases. That being said talk to your retailers. Tell them what you want, what you need and what you require. The more people use social media to requests the products we want/need the more they will pay attention and supply the demand at a lower price.

As we enter 2017, Nature and I will be revamped. We are working on supplying “products”(we are currently in talks with Sephora... shh, its a secret) that the South African market want.

Here is caveat; we are selling out our stock. Everything we have left within our warehouse will be sold for R120. As you order our stock status will move to “out of stock” and we will not restock any of the items.

People often ask me why I live in SA and not the US? (It's a long story) living in SA affords my kids to just, be kids. While we have problems in SA, for now my kids are enjoying an adventure (think wildlife, The Kruger and adopting a baby cheetah).
