For years, Robin Bhebhe has helped others find the words, the ring, and the moment to ask one of life’s most meaningful questions: “Will you marry me?”
But this time, the story was his.
After years of crafting diamonds, building a business, and helping others celebrate some of life’s most precious moments, our Co-Founder & CEO, Robin Bhebhe, has stepped into one of his own.
He is engaged. 🤍
And perhaps there is something beautifully fitting about a man whose life has been so closely connected to diamonds arriving at this moment — because a diamond has never simply been about its brilliance.
It is formed under pressure.
It is refined through a journey.
It is cut with intention.
And its true beauty is revealed over time.
In many ways, so is love.
An engagement is not simply the beginning of a wedding. It is a decision to walk into the future together — choosing one another through the beautiful seasons, the difficult seasons, the growth, the uncertainty, and everything in between.
At OCGems, we often speak about creating beauty in our world through the products we craft and the lives we change.
Today, we celebrate that purpose in a deeply personal way.

Three days of diamonds, jewellery, conversations, connections and a whole lot of walking! 😂
From the halls of the 2026 Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong to meetings with industry players from across the globe, these past few days have been a powerful reminder of just how interconnected our industry truly is.
For OCGems, this trip has been about much more than attending a jewellery show. It has been about putting Kimberley on the global map, building relationships, understanding where the market is heading, and creating opportunities that can take South African craftsmanship further into the world.
From diamonds and gemstones to finished jewellery, technology, design and the conversations shaping the future of our industry, Hong Kong has been an incredible melting pot of ideas and inspiration.
And somewhere between the meetings, showroom visits, late nights, early mornings and thousands of diamonds… we’ve also had the opportunity to experience a city that never seems to slow down. 🇭🇰
We came to Hong Kong with diamonds from Kimberley and a vision.
We’re leaving with new relationships, new ideas, new opportunities and an even bigger picture of what’s possible.
