🎀 October is a very personal month for me.

This was my gran, my angel, who was granted her wings far too young. 🤍

As a little girl, I spent school holidays watching her work. I was always amazed at how something as simple as a blow-dry could make someone feel so special.

At 15, I stood beside her and watched her take her last breath.

A few months later, my mom was diagnosed with the same disease, just a different type. Being her only child in the house, I took on a responsibility no 15-year-old should have to carry. I remember lying awake after her treatments, too scared to fall asleep because I was terrified she wouldn’t wake up.

I am so grateful my mom is a warrior and pulled through. 🤍

But every October, that little girl in me remembers the fear.

And somehow, my gran’s legacy has followed me into the life I have today. The little girl who watched her make women feel beautiful grew up to become a hairdresser herself.

That is a little piece of what Rosa Anata means to me. 🎀

For my gran. For my mom. For every woman and family affected by breast cancer.

✨ 8 MONTHS OF ROSA ANATA ✨

8 months ago, I took a leap of faith and started something that was completely mine. 🤍

What began as a little home salon has grown into Rosa Anata Hair Studio, and honestly, sometimes I still have to stop and take it all in.

8 months of early mornings, late nights, beautiful transformations, learning, growing, a few stressful moments 😅, and SO many special memories behind the chair.

But most of all, 8 months of you. 🤍
The clients who believed in me from the very beginning. The OGs who followed me into this new chapter. The new faces who have become part of the Rosa Anata family. Every appointment, conversation, laugh and transformation has helped make this little dream what it is today.

This year has taught me so much about trusting the process, taking chances and believing in myself even when things felt uncertain.

And seeing Rosa Anata Hair Studio on the door still gives me that little feeling in my heart. 🥹

8 months down, and I’m only getting started. ✂️✨
