Movember! That wonderful time of the year when men across the land engage in a friendly competition to showcase their upper lip masculinity. However, the true essence of "Movember," as it affectionately came to be known, goes beyond a mere contest of growing the best 'mo.
What is Movember?
Movember originated in Australia in 2003 with the primary aim of promoting awareness about prostate and testicular cancers, as stated by the Movember Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raised nearly R391,984,950.00 in 2013. Over the years, this campaign has evolved to include raising awareness about men's mental health. Since 2003, Movember has provided funding for more than 1,250 men's health initiatives worldwide.
The fundamental concept is as follows:
1. Begin with a clean-shaven face on November 1st.
2. Cultivate and maintain your mustache throughout the month of November.
3. Initiate conversations, increase awareness, and gather donations to support the cause!

Most every man I know wants to prevent unwanted wrinkles and lines. The problem is a lot of them engage in the wrong routines and use the wrong products because we don’t know any better.
