New clinical case now on youTooth: A 79-year-old patient presented with advanced peri-implantitis on implants placed over 20 years ago, with deep pockets (≥9 mm), inflammation, suppuration, and significant bone defect.
Following prosthesis removal, electrolytic implant surface decontamination with GalvoSurge®️ was performed, combined with surgical debridement and GBR using a xenograft–autogenous bone mix and collagen membrane.
At 3-year follow-up, clinical and radiographic outcomes showed complete defect fill, reduced probing depths (≤4 mm), and stable peri-implant tissue health.
