IAYSP ZAMBIA ENGAGES IN ANTI-CORRUPTION EDUCATION

Today, members of the International Association of Youth and Students for Peace (IAYSP) Zambia Chapter participated in an impactful Anti-Corruption Lecture organized by the National Youth Development Council (NYDC) in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of Zambia.

The interactive session empowered young people with critical knowledge on:
✅ The nature, dangers, and consequences of corruption
✅ How to identify indicators of corrupt practices
✅ Legal implications of engaging in corruption
✅ The role of youth in building a culture of integrity

Young people were challenged to take a bold stand by:
🔹 Rejecting corrupt practices in all forms
🔹 Sensitizing their communities on the dangers of corruption
🔹 Reporting suspected cases through available channels
🔹 Earning success through hard work and honest means
🔹 Knowing the anti-corruption laws that protect us all

The ACC’s message to the youth of Zambia was clear and powerful:

🛑 RESIST. REJECT. REPORT. CORRUPTION.

At IAYSP, we believe that a corruption-free Zambia starts with us — the youth. We are committed to raising a generation of principled, accountable, and integrity-driven leaders who will build the nation we all deserve.

Together, we rise. Together, we build. 💪🌍

Today, IAYSP Zambia was honored to be invited to the George Clinic Youth Friendly Space for an impactful interactive session with young people.

Together with YBA, we engaged in meaningful discussions on key issues affecting today’s youth, including mental health, financial pressures and unemployment, relationships and family responsibilities, substance abuse, peer influence, social expectations, and character development.

The session created a safe and engaging platform for young people to openly share experiences, reflect on life’s challenges, and explore practical solutions for personal growth and responsible decision-making.

At IAYSP, we remain committed to empowering young people through education, character building, leadership development, and creating spaces for honest dialogue.

Thank you to George Clinic Youth Friendly Space for the invitation and to all participants who made the session interactive and impactful.

Today, IAYSP Zambia was honored to participate in a meaningful community outreach program at Providence Home in Makeni,alongside Make Zambia Great Movement and The Young Boy Awake

As part of this initiative, assorted groceries, snacks, clothing, and other essential items were donated in support of the children and staff at the home. More than just a donation, the visit was an opportunity to share love, encouragement, and quality time with the young ones while appreciating the incredible dedication of the caregivers and staff serving the community every day.

At IAYSP, we believe that true leadership is expressed through service, compassion, and collective action. By working together with like-minded organizations, we continue to promote a culture of peace, unity, and social responsibility in our communities.

*Follow-Up Youth Leadership Meeting Successfully Held*

On The 07th of May 2026, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Zambia in collaboration with the International Association of Youth and Students for Peace (IAYSP) Zambia successfully hosted the Follow-Up Youth Leadership Meeting at Peace Embassy Building.

The gathering brought together Youth Leaders, Youth Ambassadors, and representatives from various youth-led organizations to build upon the outcomes of the previous workshop on Character Education and Responsible Citizenship.

The meeting served as a platform to strengthen collaboration, engage in strategic planning, and discuss practical initiatives aimed at youth empowerment, peacebuilding, leadership development, and national transformation.

We sincerely appreciate all participants for their active engagement, insightful contributions, and continued commitment to building a culture of peace, responsibility, service, and principled leadership.

Together, we are empowering young people to become agents of positive change for our communities and nation. 🌍🤝

Under the theme “Arise & Soar,” we are reminded that the future does not simply happen — it is built by courageous young people who rise above challenges and dare to dream beyond limitations.

At the International Association of Youth and Students for Peace (IAYSP), we believe that young people are not just leaders of tomorrow, but the changemakers of today. When youth arise with character, vision, and purpose, they gain the strength to soar to greater heights and transform their communities and nations.

Let this Youth Day be a call for every young person to stand up, discover their purpose, and use their talents to promote peace, unity, and development.
