This is a client I recently started working with, and we wrapped up his results in just two sessions.

As you can see, he has a really thick head of hair. His concern wasn’t hair loss, it was the natural way his hair grows. The pattern of his follicles created an area where his scalp showed through more than he liked, especially in certain lighting.

This is a great example of what a density fill can do. The goal isn’t to completely eliminate seeing the scalp. It’s to soften the contrast, create the appearance of more density, and keep everything looking completely natural.

Results typically last around 3 to 4 years, depending on sun exposure, and there’s no day-to-day maintenance. It’s one of those subtle changes that can take away those little moments of feeling self-conscious when your scalp catches the light.

This was actually a pretty quick and straightforward case, too.

𝓢𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓷𝓾𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻 𝓽𝔀𝓸 with this guy, and I have to say, I’m proud of this work.

He and his wife drive four hours each way for these appointments. Four hours🥰 That kind of trust doesn’t go unnoticed, and I do not take it lightly.

We still have blending to do, and the final session is going to be the real showstopper. But zoom in. Like, really zoom in. Hold two fingers on the screen and get as close as you can to those dots. They are clean, they are consistent, and they are going to heal exactly the way we want.

SMP is knitting. 𝓔𝓥𝓔𝓡𝓨 𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓽𝓬𝓱 𝓶𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼. The precision this work requires is something I’ve spent years building, and yeah, I’m going to own that. I’ve earned the confidence. I also own I have a lifetime of learning ahead of me, and I love that too.

This line across the back of the scalp is definitely a challenging one to blend naturally, and this client has required a lot of stepping back, reassessing, layering, tweaking, and trusting the process.

But WOW… look at where we are after just two sessions. 👏🏼

The softness is building, the blending is coming together, and the overall look is becoming more and more natural with each pass. This is exactly why SMP is a process and not a one day fix. Sometimes the trickiest areas need patience, strategy, and a collaborative approach to get them looking right.

I am SO excited about these results so far and I honestly cannot wait to see what Session 3 brings.
