Who would have thought I could spend HOURS deciding how to arrange chains on a display?
Length. Lighting. Like metals together or not. Whether permanent jewelry should match charm bar or have its own personality. Whether ""personality"" is even the right call for a jewelry display.
This is how I've spent the last 72 hours. Less vision board, more standing in one spot for ten minutes deciding if something is two inches too far left.
Slowly getting there

Between events, moving a studio, work, family, errands, and all the other things that fill a calendar, it's easy to feel like every week lasts forever.
And then somehow an entire season is gone.
A good reminder to say yes to the coffee date, the girls' night, the birthday dinner, the market, the class, the walk, or whatever small thing makes life feel a little fuller.

Living
I got the key to my new studio last week. It was pink. I did not plan that, but I also did not hate it.
The space is mostly ready. I loaded all the boxes from my garage into my car (and Julian's) and got to work. Furniture I ordered earlier in the spring could finally be put together. The layout is a work in progress...
That's fine. That's how this goes.
The first real event here is June 27. A 30th birthday party. Scent bar and permanent jewelry and dirty sodas. Some of my favorite things in one of my favorite new places.

Hopkins, consider this a warm-up. ATG is just getting started here.
Yesterday was my first time at the Hopkins Farmers' Market and I've been thinking about it ever since. The neighborhood, the people, the energy. It felt familiar in a way I wasn't expecting. From reconnecting with people that I worked with in Hopkins at one time or another to former customers to Hopkins' residents, it was such a great morning.
Hopkins has been my home for a long time. Yesterday felt a homecoming and the beginning of something, all at the same time.
